What to have ready
- What the door did just before it stopped, and whether there was a bang
- Single or double door, and roughly how old it is
- Whether the door is stuck open, stuck shut, or hanging crooked
- The opener brand if you can see it on the motor unit
- Your ZIP code, which decides who covers you
A photo of the bar above the door and one of the whole door from inside the garage are worth more than any description. You can send them after the call.
What happens when you call
You reach us, not the company directly. If the fault sounds like something you can fix safely, we will tell you how. If it needs a visit, your details go to one local garage door company covering your ZIP, and they call you back to arrange a time and give you a price range. The full price should be in writing before anything is touched.
Urgent and not urgent
A door stuck open at night, a car trapped inside, or a door hanging crooked on one cable: say so at the start of the call, because they are handled first. A noisy or slow door, a remote that needs programming, or a quote for a new door can wait for a convenient day.
Calls are recorded
You will hear a short announcement before the call connects. Texas allows a call to be recorded with the consent of one party, but we announce it anyway so you know, and so the details of a job are not misremembered later. If you would rather not be recorded, use the request form instead.

Do you answer on weekends?
Saturdays, yes. On Sundays and after hours, leave a message or send the form and you will get a call back first thing.
Can I send photos?
Yes, after the first call or reply. A photo of the spring bar answers most of the questions a company would ask.
Is there a charge for calling?
No. Any visit fee is set by the garage door company and should be stated before they come out.
