About Frisco Door Pros
Frisco Door Pros is an advertising and referral service for garage door repair in Frisco and the nearby Collin and Denton County suburbs. We are not a garage door company, and we put that first because you should know who you are dealing with before you call.

How it works
You call the number on this site or send a request. It reaches us, and if the problem sounds like something you can sort out yourself, such as a blocked sensor or a pulled manual release, we will say so. Otherwise we connect you with one independent local garage door company that serves your ZIP code. They call you, quote the work, and do it. Your agreement and your payment are with them. There is no charge to you for the introduction.
Why this site exists
Searching for garage door repair around Dallas is a frustrating experience. The results are crowded with directory pages, call centres that sell your request to whoever pays, and companies based an hour away advertising as local. Meanwhile, some of the best garage door technicians in Collin County run small operations with a truck, a stock of springs and a phone, and no website at all. This site is a front door for that kind of company, with advice written for the doors, weather and neighbourhoods of Frisco.
What the advice on this site is based on
The pages here are written against local conditions: the post-2000 housing that put tens of thousands of builder-grade doors and springs into Frisco in a few short years, the Texas heat in a closed garage, the hail that Collin County gets most springs, the clay that moves slabs, and the HOA rules in the master-planned communities. Where the honest answer is "wipe the sensor", "that dent is cosmetic" or "this needs a permit, check with the city", that is what these pages say.
What this site does not have
No testimonials, star ratings, project galleries or licence numbers. We have not repaired any of the doors in the photographs, and we did not collect reviews, so publishing either would be inventing a track record. The photographs are licensed stock images of garage doors, used to illustrate the pages.
Licensing in Texas
Texas does not issue a state licence for garage door repair. Electrical work, such as a new circuit for an opener, is licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, and Frisco requires contractors to register with the city before it issues them a permit. We hold none of these registrations because we do not do the work. Any company we refer you to is responsible for its own insurance, registrations and permits, and you are entitled to ask for proof of insurance before work starts.
Questions people actually ask
How do you make money if the call is free to me?
The garage door company that receives your request pays us for the introduction. What you pay for the repair is agreed between you and them, and our arrangement does not change it.
Who decides which company I am sent to?
Whether a company covers your ZIP and can take the job in a reasonable time. Your request is not auctioned, and it does not go to several companies at once.
Will lots of companies call me?
No. One company, the one that covers your area. If they are not right for you, tell us.
What if the repair goes wrong?
Your agreement is with the company that did the work, so their warranty applies and they are the first call. Tell us as well. The arrangement only works if the companies we send people to do good work.
Where are you based?
Frisco Door Pros is operated by Pinecrest Advisory Services, LLC. The garage door companies we work with are local to Frisco and Collin County; the advertising and referral side is run remotely.
